曾敏富與譚若蘭獲藝術推廣辦事處與越後妻有大地藝術祭實行委員會甄選為「越後妻有大地藝術祭2024—香港部屋」的參展藝術組合，駐留日本津南町進行作品創作及交流。是次開講，他們將分享豐富的創作歷程和藝術生命中的許多不一樣。
曾敏富為澳洲皇家墨爾本理工大學藝術碩士，現任香港藝術學院兼任導師，創作專注運用天然物料並以多樣媒介呈現。作品曾於香港、台東及海外各地展出。譚若蘭為澳洲皇家墨爾本理工大學藝術碩士，喜愛以日常生活加入自然元素創作，從中追求和諧生活。2021及2022年分別舉辦個人展覽「清心順行」及「似近還遠」。二人曾在2018年駐留台東創作，並榮獲南島國際美術獎（首獎）。

Away from the city's rush,
artists find stillness—
where memory stirs,
and the unfamiliar
feels strangely known.
Matthew Tsang and Cordelia Tam were selected by the Art Promotion Office and the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale Executive Committee as the participating artists for the Hong Kong House at Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale 2024. During their residency in Tsunan, Japan, they created artworks while immersing themselves in cultural exchange. In this talk, they will share their rich artistic journeys and the distinctive vibrancy of their creative lives.
Matthew Tsang holds a Master of Arts degree from RMIT University, Australia, and is a part-time lecturer at the Hong Kong Art School. Working primarily with natural materials across devise media, his artworks have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Taitung and internationally. Cordelia Tam holds a Master of Arts degree from RMIT University, Australia. She enjoys integrating natural elements into daily life through her art and strives for harmony in creation. In 2021 and 2022, she held solo exhibitions titled "Go with the Flow" and "So Close, Yet So Far" respectively. In 2018, Matthew and Cordelia collaborated during a residency in Taitung, where they were awarded the Grand Prize at the Austronesian International Arts Award.
